Open House Days

Our Open House is offered as a morning or afternoon session. It includes a campus tour, visit with an academic department, a Q&A panel with current Missouri S&T students, along with presentations on admissions, scholarships and financial aid. 

 

*Due to COVID-19 restrictions we are limited to a certain number of individuals for each session. Please do not arrive as a walk-in as we will only be able to accommodate registrants.

FAQs

Q:  Do I have to register to attend Open House?

A: Yes. Due to COVID-19 restrictions we are limited to a certain number of individuals for each session. We will not be able to accomodate those who are not registered and arrive as a walk-in/drop-in.

 

Q:  What time do I need to be at Open House?

A: You are encouraged to arrive no earlier than 15 minutes before the event start time in order to complete health screening and check-in. For the morning session, registrants are encouraged to arrive no earlier than 8:00 am. For the afternoon session, registrants are encouraged to arrive no earlier than 12:30 pm.

Q:  Where is Open House held?

A: Open House will begin in the Havener Center (1346 N Bishop Ave, Rolla, MO).  

Q:  Where should I park for Open House?

A: Visitors registered for Open House should park in the Residential Commons parking lot (Lot H 37). Accessible parking is available outside the Havener Center.

 

Q:  Do I need to check-in to Open House?

A: Yes. A temperature check will be conducted in the parking lot upon your arrival. You will check-in for the event at the Havener Center. 

Q:  What should I wear?

A: Comfortable shoes are recommended. You will be walking to various locations across campus. You should also bring a water bottle as we are not allowed to provide any due to COVID restrictions.

COVID guidelines

 

Please note the following practices in order to visit campus:

  • Check your temperature before coming to campus on your visit date. If you have a temperature greater than 100˚ F, do not come to campus.
  • Bring a cloth face covering with you to campus as you will be required to wear a face covering. Face coverings must cover the individual’s mouth and nose. 
  • Maintain a distance of six feet, and honor social distancing.
  • Wash your hands frequently for 20 seconds or use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer.
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth.
  • Cough and sneeze into your elbow or a tissue. Dispose of tissue and wash your hands.
  • If you become ill within two days of being on campus, please email COVID@mst.edu.
  • Visit coronavirus.mst.edu for updated guidance.
