Dual Enrollment Opportunities at Missouri S&T
Missouri University of Science and Technology’s Dual Enrollment Program includes course offerings designed to help motivated high school students get a head start on college. The program allows them to earn college credit while still in high school.

Online Course Offerings

All courses are offered in an asynchronous format with structured deadlines, providing flexibility for students to balance high school responsibilities while staying on track academically.

On Campus Course Offerings
All courses offered in-person on the Missouri S&T campus are available to dual enrollment students. If a course has a prerequisite, you would need to demonstrate that you have met those requirements. In-person class offerings can be found through the Registrar's website.
Scroll down under Guest Access and click on Schedule of Classes. After you select what subject you are interested in, you will want to scroll down, click on Campus, and select that you plan to take the class at the Main Missouri S&T Campus to view in-person class offerings.
Please note that classes are billed at the standard undergraduate tuition rate outlined here. However, select classes are offered at a discounted rate for dual enrollment students, which are identified below under Cost Information.
Cost Information
Through the Dual Enrollment Program, the tuition cost for taking the in-person or online version of Math 1214 is offered at a discounted rate of $75 per credit hour, making the total course tuition cost only $300! Students or partnering school districts will be responsible for tuition unless alternative funding arrangements are established.
Certain classes offered through the College of Arts, Sciences, and Education (CASE) are offered at a reduced rate of $165 per credit hour. Courses offered at this reduced rate include:
- CHEM 1310, General Chemistry I (offered in-person or online)
- CHEM 1319, General Chemistry Lab (offered in-person)
- EDUC 1074, Perspectives in Education (Online Synchronous)
- EDUC 1104, Teacher Field Experience (Online Synchronous)
- EDUC 2102, Psychology of Education (Online Synchronous)
- PHYSICS 1145, College Physics I (offered in-person)
- Special note- Physics 1145 is algebra-based and does NOT fulfill the needs of calculus-based physics for majors such as physics, chemistry, and most engineering fields.
- PHYSICS 1505 and 1509, Intro to Astronomy and Lab (offered in-person)
- PSYCH 1101, General Psychology (offered in-person or online)

Students enrolling in any other class offered by Missouri S&T (that is not mentioned above as qualifying for a discounted tuition rate) will be billed at the standard undergraduate tuition rate outlined here. However, all dual enrollment students have the Health Service Fee and Activity Fee waived to help reduce costs!

- Parent or Guardian Approval Letter indicating that they are aware you plan to enroll in a college course and that you have permission to do so
- Recommendation Letter from a counselor or teacher indicating that you are in good academic standing and are capable of college level work
- A copy of your high school transcript
