For International Students

  • To accept your admission and any funding you may have received, you are required to pay your enrollment fee. The payment of your enrollment fee should be submitted through your Application Status Page. The enrollment fee is non-refundable.

Payment of your enrollment fee indicates that you are accepting the admission offer and that you wish for us to proceed with the next steps, including review of your documents for I-20/DS-2019 issuance, registration, and transportation accommodations.

Approximately 3 to 5 business days after your enrollment deposit payment has been submitted, you will be invited to the ISSS Gateway Portal. This invitation will be sent to your S&T student email account, so be sure it is activated.  You will then request your I-20 through the ISSS Gateway Portal.

  • The Office of International Student and Scholar Services: International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS) assists with the requirements to maintain F-1 or J-1 visa status monitored by the Department of Homeland Security and the Department of State. Admitted international students who have paid their I-901 fee will receive an email approximately one month before the start of the semester. This email will include details on how to request an airport shuttle from the St. Louis Lambert International Airport (STL).

The closest airport to Rolla is the St. Louis Lambert International Airport (STL). You will clear immigration at the Port of Entry into the United States and then transfer to a domestic flight to St. Louis Lambert Internatioanl Airport (STL). There are a limited number to direct international flights into STL, so your Port of Entry will most likely be another airport in the U.S.

Please remember to book the final destination of your flight to the STL airport so you do not have access baggage charges as your transfer from an international flight to a domestic flight. Please allow for at least 4 to 5 hours for your layover to clear customs and boarder portal.
