The closest airport to Rolla is St Louis Lambert International Airport (STL).

You will clear immigration at the Port of Entry into the United States and then transfer into a domestic flight to St. Louis Lambert International Airport (STL). There are a limited number of direct international flights into STL, so your Point of Entry will most likely be another airport in the U.S.

Please remember to book your flight from your origin to your final destination (STL) so that you do not run into excess baggage charges as you transfer from an international flight to a domestic flight. Please allow for at least 4-5 hours to clear immigration and board your flight to STL.

Most major US airports provide free wifi for 60+ minutes. Please check the respective airport websites to confirm availability and duration of use. 

Airport Pickup Service Information

The Office of Graduate and International Admissions can book a shuttle for new international students during their initial trip to Rolla. An email will be sent approximately two months prior to the start of the semester with details on how to request your shuttle reservation. A shuttle must be requested a minimum of one week prior to arriving in St. Louis. If you cancel the reservation or are a no-show for the reservation, you will be charged a fee. 

Please note this service is for new international students only. Family members traveling with new students will need to arrange their own transportation. Current S&T students or visitors to S&T will also need to arrange their own transportation. 

The Office of Graduate and International Admissions makes shuttle reservations through USA Express. If you are arranging your own shuttle, you can contact USA Express directly.

You also have the option of booking a taxi or ride-share service from the St. Louis airport to Rolla. The airport is approximately 2 hours from Rolla and fare typically ranges between $150-$200.
