Diversity Showcase

Thursday, April 6-Friday, April 7

By registering to attend, you are automatically registered for Open House and Diversity Showcase activities.

Transportation

Diversity Showcase includes round trip bus transportation for students in the St. Louis area. If you have registered for Diversity Showcase, you are automatically registered for bus transportation. Please see the bus schedule below. 

 

Bus Schedule 

Day 1

2:40 PM - Pick up at the St. Louis North Hanley Metrolink Station

3:10 PM - Pick up at the St. Louis Galleria Mall (Macy's Parking Lot Hwy 40/64 Entrance)

 

Day 2

5:30 PM - Expected evening arrival at the St. Louis Galleria Mall (Macy's Parking Lot Hwy 40/64 Entrance)

6:10 PM - Expected evening arrival at the St. Louis North Hanley Metrolink Station

Day 1

5:00 PM-Arrive at Missouri S&T/Campus Activities

6:45 PM - Dinner at Missouri S&T

7:30 PM - Campus activities including tours and demonstrations

9:15 PM - Residential hall check-in

11:00 PM - Lights Out

 

Day 2

8:00 AM - Breakfast

9:00 AM - Admission and scholarship presentation

10:15 AM - Campus Tour

11:00 AM - Academic department visit

12:00 PM - Information fair

12:30 PM - Lunch

1:00 PM - Campus activities including tours and demonstrations

3:30 PM - Depart for St. Louis

          

What to Bring

Diversity Showcase attendees will be staying in an S&T residential hall. Students will be equipped with a bed, bedding and pillow. Students will also receive a washcloth and towel. Students need to bring their own toiletry items and shower shoes (optional).

Students should plan to wear comfortable clothes and closed toe shoes (sneakers). A  jacket and umbrella are encouraged.

Money is not required. All Diversity Showcase activities are free to student participants.  Students are encouraged to bring spending money if they plan to purchase items at the S&T Store (campus bookstore) or frequent the vending machines.

FAQ

Q:  What do I bring for my overnight stay?

A: You will be staying in an S&T residential hall equipped with bedding and a pillow. You will also be provided a washcloth and towel. You are encouraged to bring your own toiletry items and shower shoes. 

Q:  Do I need to bring money?

A: All Diversity Showcase activities are free for students. Bring extra money if you want to visit the S&T Store (the campus bookstore) or vending machines.

Q:  What should I wear?

A: Casual clothing and comfortable closed toe shoes (sneakers). You will be walking to various locations across campus. A jacket and umbrella is also encouraged.
