Our Open House includes a campus tour, visit with an academic department, a Q&A panel with current Missouri S&T students, along with presentations on admissions, scholarships and financial aid. You also have the opportunity to visit with different campus departments through the information fair.

8:30 am | Check in at Havener Center

9:00 am | Admissions and Student Financial Aid presentation, Student panel

10:00 am | Information fair

11:00 am | Academic department visit*

12:00-1:00 pm | Lunch on own

1:00-1:45 pm | Optional- 2nd Academic department visit**

12:30-4:00 pm | Campus tour, Student Design Center, Fitness Center, and Residential Life tours***

*Academic department visit of your choice based on your selection during your online registration.

**The 2nd academic department visit offered at 1 pm is an optional activity. During your online registration you will select if you would like to visit a 2nd department and choose what program you wish to visit.

***These activities are optional. Visitors may choose to end their visit after the 11 am academic department visit concludes. If available, the Student Design Center, Fitness Center, Thomas Jefferson and Residential Commons residence hall will be open for drop-in/walk-in traffic between 12:30-4:00 pm.

FAQs

Q:  Do I have to register to attend Open House?

A: We strongly encourage you to register for our Open House event and not arrive as a walk-in/drop-in.

 

Q:  What time do I need to be at Open House?

A: You are encouraged to arrive at the Havener Center no earlier than 8:30 am to check in. The welcome presentation will start at 9 am.

Q:  Where is Open House held?

A: Open House will begin in the Havener Center (1346 N Bishop Ave, Rolla, MO).  

Q:  Where should I park for Open House?

A: Visitors attending Open House should park in lot X. Those who need accessible parking may park in parking lot A in one of the spots that say "reserved for Admissions."

A campus map can be found HERE. A parking lot map can be found HERE. Monday or Friday attendees must print off the parking pass and have it displayed on the front dash of your vehicle to avoid being ticketed. Saturday attendees do not need a parking pass.

 

Q:  What should I wear?

A: Comfortable shoes are recommended as you will be walking to various locations across campus. We also recommend bringing a refillable water bottle and checking the weather to see if you need an umbrella.

 

Q:  Are meals provided?

A: A lunch coupon will be provided to the student that can be redeemed at the Havener food court or at the Thomas Jefferson cafeteria. Guests are responsible for covering their lunch. Please note that the Havener food court is a cash-free establishment. Click on the "Local Lunch Options" tab for off-campus area options.

Parking and Directions

Open House visitors are directed to park in lot X. Accessible parking is available in lot A.

To avoid a parking ticket violation, Open House visitors attending on a Monday or Friday are required to print and display a parking pass on the front dash of their vehicle. Weekend visitors do not need to display a parking pass.
