Ages 14-18 - June 28, 30, July 7, 9, 2021
This NEW virtual camp will include an exciting introduction to the S&T Explosives Program and offerings, uses of explosives, explosives blasting in mining, explosive demolition, explosive chemistry, display fireworks, setting up a fireworks show, pyrotechnics, explosive research producing nano diamonds and other nano materials, demonstrations of high speed cameras and explosions, explosive engraving, Explosives Ordnance Disposal (EOD) and using a huge black powder cannon for impact research, as a sample. There will also be some projects to work on over the July 4th holiday, one of which will include going to see a fireworks display.

Registration Fee: $300
Time Frame: The camp will comprise four (4) 3 hour blocks straddling the July 4th holiday, June 28th - July 9th, 2021.

Missouri S&T is offering a limited number of need-based scholarships. If you would like to apply, please register for the camp and check the "Yes" box on the form to receive a scholarship application and instructions (via email). Scholarship review and awardee communication will begin April 1 and continue until funds are gone. Priority will be given to Missouri residents. Registration Cancellation Policy
Persons wishing to cancel their registration must do so by the end of the business day on June 18, 2021. No refunds will be made after this date (unless the spot is filled by an alternate on the waitlist).
Missouri S&T reserves the right to cancel any program in the event of insufficient registrations, severe weather or natural disaster. In the event of cancellation, registrants will be notified immediately via email and phone, and all fees will be returned in full. Individuals who wish to cancel must do so by the end of business June 18, 2021. Refunds will not be issued after this date.
