Girls Save the Planet
June 7-11, 2020
Come explore the environment, learn how our choices impact our planet, and find innovative ways to preserve our world for the next century!
Campers will dive in and learn about water quality and supply at natural springs, visit area watersheds, and learn how energy is made now and in future. Dry off at the S&T Solar Village and Green Roof, which is divided into three sections covered with different roofing materials that allow S&T researchers to compare the water runoff control, water quality and thermal properties of each material.
Explore groundwater models and air quality, and plan an energy portfolio. Spend the week learning about environmental challenges and solutions and what career choices can help you promote sustainability through the 21st century.
