FORMULA SAE ELECTRIC CAR CAMP

July 23 - 27, 2023

This week-long residential camp will give you the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of Electric Vehicles and the Formula SAE competition. We aim to help you gain some insight of what being on a collegiate design team is like.

Registration details

Date: July 23 - 27, 2023

Eligibility: For rising 10th - 12th graders

Capacity: Space is limited to 25 students.

Registration Fee: $750 which includes housing in residence halls, meals, and all course materials.

Registration Cancellation Policy

Persons wishing to cancel their registration must do so two weeks (14 full days) prior to the first day of their chosen program. No refunds will be made after this date.

Camp Activities

  • Tour of the shop
  • Lectures in vehicle dynamics
  • Go through the Formula SAE design process
  • Mock build an FSAE chassis

Transportation Policy

Participants must provide their own transportation to and from Missouri S&T. USA Express provides shuttle service from Lambert-St. Louis International Airport to campus. The shuttle service schedule is available online or you can call toll free at 1-800-872-9399. 

Campus Cancellation Policy

Missouri S&T reserves the right to cancel any program in the event of insufficient registrations, severe weather or natural disaster. In the event of cancellation, registrants will be notified immediately via email and phone, and all fees will be returned in full.
