Esports Boot Camp

June 16–19, 2024

This camp coaches high school students in a well-rounded, collegiate Esports gaming experience, offering both skill development and personal growth opportunities. Campers will be coached by the Missouri S&T Esports team, allowing students to enhance their gaming skills, and become better overall team players. Esports often require teamwork, and these camps can help students develop strong communication and collaboration skills. Designed to boost students' self-confidence, leadership abilities, and problem-solving skills, both in gaming and in life, campers will be assigned to one of four teams: League of Legends, Valorant, Rocket League, and Overwatch.

Activities include in-depth discussions about game mechanics, strategies, and tactics, which can help students become more knowledgeable players and are a great way for campers to have fun and enjoy their passion for gaming in a structured and supportive environment.
