Registration Details

Date: July 9 - 13, 2023

Eligibility: Rising 11th and 12th graders

Capacity: Space is limited to 60 students.

Registration Fee: $575 which includes housing in residence halls, meals, and all course materials. 

Space is Limited: Early registration is recommended. Campers will be registered on a first-come, first-served basis, based upon date of registration and when payment is received. Waiting lists will be maintained and filled in the order that they were received should cancellations occur.

Registration Cancellation Policy

All camps will have a $50 registration fee (non-refundable, but applied to camp fee). Persons wishing to cancel their registration must do so two weeks (14 full days) prior to the first day of their chosen program. No refunds will be made after this date.

Camp Activities

CyberMiner campers will enjoy hands-on computing in a variety of fields, including the following:

  • Computer Engineering—designed to prepare engineers to work in the abstract world of software design and engineering and in the physical world where designs are often compromises between many opposing factors.
  • Computer Science—a dynamic field that includes development of algorithms (techniques for solving problems with computers), software development, and hardware/software implementations.
  • Information Science and Technology—an innovative program that integrates information technology with business administration and management systems.

Transportation Policy

Participants are responsible for their own transportation to and from Missouri University of Science and Technology in Rolla, Missouri. USA Express provides shuttle service from St. Louis Lambert Airport to Rolla. You can contact USA Express by calling 1-800-872-9399 or visiting their website at http://www.usaxonline.com/. If you are having challenges arranging transportation, please contact the STEM Center for additional assistance.

Campus Cancellation Policy

Missouri S&T reserves the right to cancel any program in the event of insufficient registrations, severe weather or natural disaster. In the event of cancellation, registrants will be notified immediately via email and phone, and all fees will be returned in full.
