Art of Science Summer Camp

June 25 - 29, 2023

Join other “future” creative scientists and explore unique ways to photograph, write and create multimedia art through natural discovery at S&T’s Field Station campus.
Campers will investigate the natural wonders to be found in the Ozarks and explain their findings through writing, photography and multimedia art. Working independently and as part of a team, campers will learn about science and then express what they learn in various artistic ways. From bugs and bark, to fungi and flowers, campers will learn to see science in a different way, as well as expand their ideas of what art can be.
This is truly a hands-on camp, where personal expression is spotlighted and group dynamics expand ideas and insight on natural art and science. There will be endless opportunities to be inspired, as well as being the inspiration to others, which will all be showcased in the end-of-camp Art Show.
