Congratulations, you're a Miner! Now what?

After you've been admitted, there are still a few things you have to do to complete your transition to college. Follow the steps below to get started at S&T.

To ensure you are prepared for your scheduled Preview, Registration, and Orientation (PRO) session, please click on the link to set up your student account at this time. This involves signing the E-Consent form in Joe'SS and activating your S&T student email.

Questions? Please contact an admissions counselor.

FAFSA

Complete your FAFSA by Missouri S&T’s priority deadline of February 1.

Missouri S&T’s FAFSA Code: 002517

Scholarships

We automatically award merit-based scholarships to admitted students based on their ACT or SAT score. Students can send us updated scores through June before their Freshman year and will receive updated scholarships.

Competitive scholarships can be found on our private scholarship database. Just like the FAFSA, you can apply for these between October 1 and February 1. You will need your Joe’SS username and password to fill out the general application.

Please note: Some scholarships have deadlines as early as November 1, so be sure to apply early!

Questions? Contact Student Financial Assistance.

Register for Advising & Registration to select your advising date, establish your housing priority and guarantee your place in S&T’s fall 2021 class.

Advising Dates are available for in-person and virtual experiences.  For dates and to register, please visit your status page

Questions? Contact the New Student Programs.

First, submit a University Residence Hall Application and Agreement as part of your PRO registration.

Second, complete the housing interest form (available on Joe'SS after you receive an email from Residential Life in January).

Contact the Residential Life office if you would like to request to live off-campus, or if you have any other questions.

Questions regarding Greek Life? Email greeks@mst.edu or call 573-341-6771.

Many students choose to bring a car to campus. As soon as you register for PRO, you can go to the university police parking page and put your name on a waitlist for certain parking lots.

Ensure that your high school sends a final transcript with final semester grades to the Office of Admissions after your high school graduation date. Missouri S&T cannot request final transcripts for you and transcripts will not be accepted in person.

If you have completed AP coursework, make sure those scores are sent as soon as available after graduation.

If you have completed Dual Enrollment Credit at another institution while in high school, request official transcripts from those institutions be sent directly to Missouri S&T after graduation.
