Women @ S&T
Missouri S&T has one of the highest female populations among the nation's technological research universities, making up one-fourth of the undergraduate student body. In the past 20 years, the number of women pursuing degrees in science, computing and engineering has skyrocketed – proving that math and science aren’t “just for boys” anymore.
The mission of Women’s Programs is to serve as an educational, networking, and professional development resource center for all S&T female students. Women's Programs supports a number of activities and programs with the ultimate goal of enabling female students to be ready to assume leadership positions both on campus and in their communities. Women at S&T are provided role models and encouragement as they embark on a career that will change the world.
S&T is ranked No. 20 in number of bachelor's degrees in engineering awarded to women.
