Summer Solutions for Girls


If you are a freshman or sophomore girl, or being home schooled at one of these levels, this is the perfect time to experience college life and learn more about your career options in engineering, math and science. This is your chance to experience a college atmosphere, meet professors, and discover what engineers and scientists really do and how they do it.

Registration Details

Date: TBA

Eligibility: Rising 9th and 10th grade girls

Registration Fee: TBA, which includes housing, meals, t-shirt, activities and all supplies.

Employee Discount: Children of current employees of Missouri S&T will receive a $50 discount off registration fees.

Registration Deadline: Registrations will be accepted until camp is filled.

Capacity: Space is limited to 30 students, but if the camp is full, you can request to be placed on a waiting list.


Registration Process

1. Complete the online registration form: (REGISTRATION OPENS FEBRUARY 2018)
2. Print, sign Agreement and Release of Liability and Health Form
3. Mail all forms and payment* (if not paying online by credit card) made payable to the Missouri S&T within 14 days* from the date of your registration.


*Notice: Your registration is not complete until all forms and payment have been received by our office. All forms and payment must be received by our office within 14 days from the date of your registration to avoid automatic cancellation


Persons wishing to cancel their registration must do so in writing by TBA to receive a full refund. Requests for refunds made between DATES TO BE ANNOUNCED will receive a 50% refund of fees. No refunds will be given after TBA.  Please allow two weeks for processing refunds.

Camp Activities

This live-in, week-long camp is designed to give students the experience of college life while learning more about career options in science, engineering and math. Students will live in a dorm, meet current students and professors, participate in team projects, and gain a better understanding of what engineers and scientists really do and how!


Participants must provide their own transportation to and from Missouri S&T. USA Express provides shuttle service from Lambert-St. Louis International Airport to campus. The shuttle service schedule is available online, or you can call toll free at 1-800-872-9399.

Campus Cancellation Policy

Missouri S&T reserves the right to cancel any program in the event of insufficient registrations, severe weather or natural disaster. In the event of cancellation, registrants will be notified immediately via email and phone, and all fees will be returned in full.
