Tyler joined Missouri S&T in February 2014. He works with students around the country that are considering transferring to Missouri S&T.
Tyler is from Vienna, Missouri and attended high school at Maries R-I High School. He double majored and earned a Bachelor's Degree in History and Biological Sciences with Teacher Certification from Missouri S&T and a Master's Degree in History from Missouri State University.
At S&T, Tyler participated in Scrubs (Pre-Health Society), Phi Sigma (Biological Honor Society), Phi Alpha Theta (History Honor Society), and the Student-Missouri State Teachers Association (S-MSTA). As part of S-MSTA, Tyler served as the State President of the organization. During graduate school, Tyler worked as a graduate teaching assistant in the History Department at Missouri State.
Tyler is a member of the Missouri Association for College Admissions Counseling (MOACAC), Missouri Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admission Officers (MACRAO) and the National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC). Tyler serves on the Admission Practices committee for MOACAC, the Professional Development committee for MOACAC, and the Admissions & Enrollment Management committee for MACRAO.
