To ensure a smooth transition to Missouri S&T, be sure to complete the following items:
1. Set up your S&T username and password
Your S&T username and password allows access to Joe'SS S&T email, secure wireless internet, 25GB of network storage, web apps, campus computer labs, etc. For intstructions on setting up your username and password go to futurestudents.mst.edu/joess/.

2. Register for Transfer Advising Day
During Transfer Advising Day you will meet your department faculty advisor, register for classes, reserve textbooks, get your S&T student ID card, tour campus and residence halls, and visit with the Student Financial Aid Office.
You will leave campus that day with a copy of your schedule for your first S&T semester.
Submit a University Residence Hall Application and Agreement at email@example.com. Complete a Housing Interest Form, available on Joe'SS. The deadline to submit the Housing Interest Form and retain your priority is June 1.
4. Sign up for Transfer Transitions
Sign up for Transfer Transitions online at pro.mst.edu. Your $25 enrollment deposit may be paid online.
Your experience will include information on student organizations, design teams, study abroad opportunities, undergraduate research information, campus job information, team design projects and networking, meeting with Career Opportunities & Employer Relations (COER) staff, and dinner with S&T administrators, faculty, staff, and students.
5. Complete Health Forms
Student health forms are available online at studenthealth.mst.edu.
Health History Form (required by all new students), return completed form, immunization records, and copy of a valid insurance card before August 1.
Meningococcal Vaccination Waiver, for students who choose not to receive a meningococcal vaccination.
Voluntary Declaration of Disability Form, to disclose a disabling condition that may require special accommodations. Mail to address on the form. More information about Disability Support Services and the required disability documentation will be sent upon receipt of the completed form.

6. Financial Assistance
Financial Aid is awarded based on merit, need, or both. To be considered for need-based aid, you must complete a FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) at fafsa.gov.
Complete your FAFSA by Missouri S&T's priority deadline of February 1.

Admitted students who qualify for S&T's merit-based scholarships are notified, once being admitted. Use scholarships.mst.edu and reputable national scholarship search websites to reasearch scholarship opportunities. Many academic departments at S&T offer scholarships to students in specific degree programs.
7. Final Transcripts
After final semester grades are posted, request final transcripts from your transfer institution to be sent to S&T Admissions at 106 Parker Hall, 300 West 13th Street, Rolla, MO 65409-1060.
8. Billing and Financial Aid
If you have questions about financial aid issues, billing processes, or deadlines you will get the chance to meet with Financial Aid on your Transfer Advising Day. You billing statement from S&T will be available about six weeks prior to the start of classes. Pay all bills on time to maintain your enrollment status.
