Applying is quick and easy
You may apply for admission to Missouri S&T any time after completing six semesters of high school coursework (typically after their junior year). When you submit your application for admission, you are also applying for merit-based university scholarships. Apply before December 1 to be eligible for maximum scholarship awards.

Once you are admitted, you can use your S&T username and password to login at scholarships.mst.edu to determine your eligibility for additional scholarships such as academic department awards or selected external awards. We encourage you to use free national scholarship search sites to maximize your external scholarship opportunities.

Tips for Applying Online
The online application will take about 20 minutes to complete.
Press SAVE after each page of the application. A time-out will occur after 20 minutes of inactivity.
If a required field is left blank you will receive an error message and the blank field will be highlighted.
In order to minimize your chances of errors, complete the application from beginning to end and do not skip around.
When you see the message "(your name)" thank you for applying..." you have submitted the application correctly and it will be processed. If you get an error message, please go back and correct the information and re-submit. If you are still having problems at this point, please call 573-341-4165.
Once you apply for admission, you will receive an email with your official Missouri S&T username and a temporary password. Follow the directions in that email to establish your permanent password and set up your S&T email address. Then you can track your application status on the student services site Joe'ss and apply for additional scholarships and academic departmental awards at scholarships.mst.edu.
