Applying: Step-by-Step

Students may apply for admission to Missouri S&T anytime after completing six semesters (typically after their junior year) of high school coursework.

• Priority application deadline for admission and scholarships for the fall semester is December 1
• Final deadline for the fall semester is July 1
• Final deadline for the winter/spring semester is December 1
• Final deadline for the summer semester is May 1

Submit an application for admission:

• S&T's online application  the easiest way to apply!
• Universal College Application

Along with your online application, submit the following:

1. Non-refundable $45 application fee payable to Missouri S&T.
2. Request your high school transcript be sent directly to:
          Director of Admissions
          Missouri University of Science and Technology
          106 Parker Hall, 300 W 13th Street
          Rolla, Missouri USA 65409-1060
   No transcript will be accepted directly from any applicant. This transcript needs to show your most recent semester of completed coursework. Missouri S&T will request a final transcript upon completion of your senior year.
3. Request ACT and/or SAT scores be sent directly to Missouri S&T from the testing agency
4. Personal Statement (optional): You may include a personal statement of 200 words or less, discussing a topic you wish the admissions committee to review. This statement may include your educational goals, discussion of personal circumstances, etc.

Special Instructions for Applying Online:

The online application will take about 20 minutes to complete. You may save your application and go back to it later if you wish.

An admission application worksheet is available as a guide to prepare for completing the online application.

If a required field is left blank you will receive an error message and the blank field will be highlighted. In order to minimize your chances of errors, complete the application from beginning to end and do not skip around.

If you apply online and get the message "(your name) thank you for applying.......", you have submitted the application correctly and it will be processed.
